Meet Jamie Garcia

Jamie is a certified mixer of immunotherapy and supervises everything within the Allergy Department at Tejas Ear, Nose and Throat. She is originally from San Francisco, California and moved to Austin, Texas in 2009.  Jamie started working at Tejas in 2018 after working several years for a practice where she trained alongside board certified allergists. She has extensive experience in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Additionally, she has experience with PFT and Asthma work up, Medication Allergen Challenges, Food Intolerance vs. Allergy Challenges, RAST, Skin Prick Testing for Food and Environmental Allergens, Intradermal Testing and Crisis Training.  In January 2024, Jamie completed an updated course in chronic inflammation, autoimmunity and allergy through the Harvard Medical School.  She attends yearly AAOA Allergy meetings for the most updated information in Allergy, while continuing her studies in nutrition.  In her time away from work, she loves exercising, yoga, and spending time with her friends and family.
